Georgia man dead in South Carolina after fall from overpass

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — A Georgia man is dead after a fall from a railroad overpass in South Carolina.

Orangeburg County Coroner Samuetta Marshall told the Times and Democrat of Orangeburg that William Thomas Yarborough fractured his skull in the fall.

Marshall said the 43-year-old man from Alpharetta died after Tuesday afternoon.

An autopsy is being conducted.

The sheriff’s office responded to the incident, but a police report was not immediately available.
