The Rotary Club of Canton’s annual community service fundraiser will feature a special guest this year: country music star Mark Wills.

The musician, whose Top 10 hits have included “19 Somethin’,” “I Do (Cherish You)” and “She’s in Love,” will perform at the charitable event Saturday, April 20.

The 20th Annual “An Affair to Remember” gala is from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center at 1130 Bluffs Parkway in Canton. Tickets are $125, and admit two people. Only 350 tickets will be sold.

The evening’s theme is “Denim and Diamonds,” and in addition to the concert by Wills, the event also includes dinner and cocktails. A grand prize drawing for a $1,500 cash prize will be held, as well as drawings for $1,000 and $500 cash prizes and door prizes.

The annual event raises funds for the Rotary Club’s community service work including supporting organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Club, MUST Ministries, ALS Foundation, CASA for Children and the YMCA, as well as the Rotary International Polio Plus initiative to eradicate polio worldwide.

“I am very excited about the 20th annual ‘Affair to Remember,’” Club President Jeff Mitchell said. “We have pulled out all the stops this year with the addition of Nashville recording artist Mark Wills. Adding Mark as our headliner will allow greater exposure for our club and the good works we perform. For more than 75 years, the Rotary Club of Canton has provided assistance to the community’s charitable causes, and this fundraiser make all these good works possible.”
