Mr. David John Anstedt, of Woodstock, Ga., passed away early Thursday, April 18, 2013, at WellStar Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain. He was 83. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Larry Niese officiating. Burial will follow 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Georgia National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Woodstock Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Marietta, GA 30067, or the WellStar Foundation, 3805 Cherokee St. N.W., Kennesaw, GA 30144. Mr. Anstedt was born August 1, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Herbert Jackson and Mabel Kennedy Anstedt. Mr. Anstedt served his country and was a WWII veteran, and later worked for and retired from Hutting Door and Sash. He was also a member of the Canton Moose Lodge, The Knights of Columbus and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Carol Anstedt, Woodstock, Ga.; one daughter, Sarah Boulineau (Philip), Canton, Ga.; two sons, Mark Anstedt, Stateline, Nev., Scott Anstedt, Rockford, Ill.; one brother, Jackson H.
