Gwinnett County police say 45-year-old Ki Song Kim of Duluth faces two counts of felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault. Jail records, which do not indicate whether Kim has an attorney, show that he was being held Tuesday without bond.
The bodies of 59-year-old Sung Hee Choi and 63-year-old Young Chan Choi, were found at their home on Worrall Hill Way near Duluth shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday. Police said it appeared they were stabbed.
The Chois owned Best Supply, a restaurant supply business in nearby Norcross.
Witnesses reported seeing a white passenger car at the scene before the crime, and an unknown male was seen approaching the front door with a box of apples, police said in a statement.
Police have not commented on a possible motive in the slayings. They said Tuesday that further details of the case would not be released at this time as that may compromise the investigation.
In a statement on Monday, police said that "at this time, detectives do not know why the victims were targeted or if it had to do with the fact that they owned a business."
