From staff reports

A two-car wreck left two injured, where Highway 140 and Marietta Highway intersect in North Canton, on Monday at about 11:30 a.m., officials said.

Firefighters arrived to find a white Chrysler Town and County SUV flipped onto its top, leaving two of the five passengers injured, according to Cherokee Fire and Emergency Services spokesman Tim Cavender.

The 45-year-old male driver and a 53-year-old passenger both complained of neck and back pain, and were transported by ambulance to Northside Cherokee Hospital, Cavender said.

The wreck also involved a red Ford Probe. No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the accident is under investigation, Cavender said.
