CANTON — Canton attorney Jonathan Pope of the law firm Hasty Pope has been named a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

The National Trial Lawyers is a professional organization of the country’s top trial lawyers. Selection is based on a multi-phase process, which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research.

Membership is extended to attorneys who have exemplified qualifications, trial results and leadership in their state and area. Pope was selected after meeting stringent qualifications for his civil plaintiff law practice.

“Being invited to join the National Trial Lawyers group is a great opportunity for me and our firm,” Pope said. “It will give us additional access to advocacy training, networking and education with the best trial lawyers around the country.”

Pope is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia Legislation Advisory Committee and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Civil Justice Political Action Committee. He was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine and was named one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite” earlier this year.

Hasty Pope LLP is a family-run law firm that exclusively handles personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, including automobile and truck accidents, wrongful death, construction accidents, and traumatic brain injury.

The firm has offices in Canton, Atlanta and Gainesville. For more information, call (770) 479-0366 or visit www.hastypope.com.
