Main Street Woodstock is calling for residents and businesses to participate in a scarecrow contest this fall.

The entry fee is $20, and all proceeds will go to the Elm Street Cultural Art Village. There is a $1 fee per vote, and the votes will determine a first-, second- and third-place winner.

Voting will take place at the Woodstock Visitors Center at the historic Deans Store downtown, and the only rules are to be creative and have fun doing it.
