For Magan and Kent Goss, taking over Romeo’s Pizza in Riverstone Plaza in Canton is proving to be a smart move.

One of six Romeo’s Pizza locations in the metro area, the Romeo’s in Canton offers a variety of pizzas and the Goss family is making it their promise to deliver with great customer service.

The couple also purchased a fleet of smart cars that are already becoming a familiar sight around Canton.

“We bought the restaurant in April, and we have really had to turn it around with our customer service,” Magan Goss said. “So far it has been going good, really good.”

Magan Goss said they have seen a 48 percent increase in sales since taking over.

The couple offered free samples Labor Day at the Canton fireworks show and gave out more than 500 slices.

They also sponsor Cherokee and Creekview high school football, as well as other community entities.

Kent and Magan Goss live in Canton with their two children, Zachary, 5, and Mackenzie, 3.

The restaurant offers dine-in and carry-out at the location in Riverstone Plaza as well as delivery.

Romeo’s uses fresh ingredients and makes pizza completely from scratch. Romeo’s uses the finest cheese and makes all their dough in-house.

The pizza restaurant offers specialty pizzas such as the vegetarian with mushrooms, eggplant, caramelized onions, sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese.

The White Pizza has mozzarella, ricotta, oregano and garlic. They also offer a Meat Lovers and a Margherita, which has an extra thin crust.

For those who prefer something other than pizza, there are calzones and stromboli. They also offer a variety of salads, including Romeo’s Signature Salad with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese and assorted fruit, which pairs well with the homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

For dessert, there is a Nutella pie with strawberries and bananas, or Italian funnel cake bites.

A children’s menu and an array of appetizers can also be found.
