The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding two children who are believed to have run away from home and went missing Tuesday night in Acworth.

Kimberly Nicole Ayala, 13, and Samuel Meadors, 11, live in the Hidden Falls Mobile Home Park off Bells Ferry Road and were last seen together around 10 p.m. Tuesday night, said Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office.

Baker said Ayala was last seen in dark blue shorts with a black T-shirt. She has brown hair with highlights, brown eyes and has her ears pierced.

Meadors was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with a hood and black pants with an “S” patch on the backside, Baker said. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with any information regarding their whereabouts is urged to call 911.
