Kenneth E. Worley, age 69, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013. He was born September 5, 1944 in Canton, Georgia, the son of the late George E. Worley and the late Lemma Hastings Worley. He was retired from Gold Kist after forty years of services. He was a member of the Sharptop Masonic Lodge #680 F&AM, and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marilyn Worley of Carrollton; children: Kenny Worley and his wife, Mary, of Ball Ground, Tracy Martin and her husband, Kenny, also of Ball Ground, Ricky Hughes and his wife, Gabriel, of Whitesburg, Rhena Helton and her husband, Danny, of Ducktown, Tennessee, and Robin Lilley of Whitesburg; sisters: Martha Holcombe of Ball Ground, and Carolyn Chapman of Cumming; brothers: Paul Worley, Ronald Worley, Cliffton Worley, Randall Worley, and Ricky Worley, all of Ball Ground; grandchildren: Heidi Lilley-Brannon, Josh Martin, Justin Worley, Andrea Worley, Ashley Worley, Jessica Loudermilk, Matthew Helton, Travis Hughes, Dusty Hughes, Breanna Hughes, Victoria Hughes, and Rocky Hughes; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Music will be rendered by Kevin and Craig Brannon and Matthew Helton. Those serving as pallbearers will be grandsons: Matthew Helton, Kevin Brannon, Travis Hughes, Dusty Hughes, Josh Martin, and Justin Worley. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
