WOODSTOCK— Woodstock police have arrested and charged a man and a woman on 109 counts each of sexual exploitation of children, authorities said Tuesday, and the investigation is continuing.

Eric Timothy Daniels, 44, and April G. Daniels, 26, both of Pennsylvania, were arrested by Woodstock Police Dec. 7, after police uncovered about 500 images when they seized computers, cameras and videos in connection with the charges, Woodstock Police spokeswoman Brittany Duncan said Tuesday.

“On Dec. 6, the Woodstock Police Department received information about a possible child molestation and sexual exploitation of two female juveniles, ages 15 and 5,” Duncan said in a news release. “The information suggested that the two juveniles, along with two adult men and one adult female, were living in a 21-foot pull-behind camper and working at various RV parks and small farms.”

Both suspects are being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center without bond, Duncan said.

The children were released into the custody of a relative, she said.

Duncan said the group experienced car trouble while traveling between Georgia and Texas and ended up stopping in Woodstock.

The Woodstock Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit started an investigation into the allegations, which led to the execution of three search warrants in Woodstock and one in Acworth, Duncan said.

“With the assistance of Acworth Police Department, search warrants resulted in the seizure of several computers, cameras, hard drives, and DVD/CDs which contained approximately 500 suspect images,” Duncan said. “The investigation further revealed that the group had only been in Woodstock for six days.”

A third suspect has been identified by police but has not been charged. The investigation is ongoing, Duncan said.
