CANTON — The Canton Police Department on Wednesday released a surveillance video from a robbery at a local gas station in hopes the public could help track down the suspects.

The department said two men, believed to be Hispanic, robbed a Chevron station at 370 Marietta Road and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash Feb. 28 at about 5 a.m.

“One of the suspects held the clerk down (laid on top of her) while the other entered a locked room and removed an undisclosed amount of cash,” the department said in a news release accompanied by the video, which captured part of the incident.

The men had a blue and black gym bag to transport the cash, according to Canton Police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Canton detectives at scott.hoffman@canton-georgia.com or call (770) 720-4883.
