The Top 10 in 10 “Young Professionals to Watch” initiative is designed to cultivate and showcase exceptional Cherokee County young professionals. Coordinated by the Cherokee County Chamber, in partnership with “Enjoy! Cherokee Magazine,” the recognition program focuses local residents under age 40 who are considered to be Cherokee County’s potential future leaders.
Judging criteria includes professional goals, volunteer/community activities as well as past professional achievements and awards.
Those chosen for the recognition will be recognized at the Chamber’s Good Morning Cherokee breakfast the first Thursday in June, featured in the August issue of “Enjoy! Cherokee Magazine” and nominated for the “Georgia Trend Magazine” 40 Under 40 recognition.
Rising stars recognized in 2013 as Cherokee County’s next generation of community leaders were Josh Bagby, Rand Bagwell, Michael Caldwell, John Cline, Cleve Hill, Barbara Jacoby, Jake Osaer, Jamie Pritchett, Rebekah Shelnutt and Heath Tippens.
Nomination forms are available from the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce or via the web at www.cherokeechamber.com.
All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on May 1. For further details and/or a nomination form, contact the Chamber at (770) 345-0400 or email Pam@CherokeeChamber.com
