To celebrate the anniversary, Shady Grove is showcasing The Isaacs on Friday at 7 p.m. at Sunnyside Church of God, TheSide, at 2510 E. Cherokee Drive in Woodstock.
The Isaacs are an international touring family, spreading the message of hope and grace through song and story, according to a release about the local event.
“Appealing to a variety of audiences, their unique style is influenced by many genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, country, contemporary, and southern gospel and results in a blend of tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation,” the release said.
The group performs frequently at the Grand Ole Opry and with the Gaither’s Homecoming concert series and videos.
Other notable performances include Country Music Fan Fest, Carnegie Hall, and at many professional sporting events, including a Cincinnati Bengal’s football game, Nashville Predators Hockey games, and an Astros/ Braves baseball game, according to biographical data about the group.
Winning more than seven Dove Awards, they have also been nominated and have performed at the Dove Awards, International Bluegrass Music Association and National Quartet Convention Awards, and the Inspirational Christian Country awards.
