The Holly Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two men who they say stole money from vending machines in a store and were caught on video.
The white males are suspects in thefts from vending machines at the 24-7 Coin Laundry next to the Hop-In store at the intersection of Holly Springs Parkway and Adam Jenkins Memorial on April 25, the department said in a news release
Thursday. “The two suspects entered the laundry and removed cash and change from two vending machines inside the store,” the release said. “One subject appears to have an access key for the vending machines. The other subject served as a lookout/ decoy by carrying in a container of laundry and stood inside, at the front window, and folded towels inside the container while the other suspect opened and emptied the cash and coins from the machines.”
The incident happened at about 1:30 a.m., police said.
Anyone with information on the men is asked to call the police department’s anonymous tip line at (770)704-0667, or the detective on the case, Johnny L. Shirley, at (770)721-7528.
