This weekend brings the first four of dozens of fall festivals that will fill October.
The Holly Springs Founders' Day Committee will present Autumn Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Barrett Memorial Park on Park Lane. Taste of Canton is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Cannon Park on the square in downtown Canton. There will be samples from Canton restaurants, live music and children's activities. The Soleil of Laurel Canyon Art Sale and Show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the neighborhood clubhouse at 547 Laurel Canyon Parkway, Canton. Items for sale will include textile and needle work, wood carvings, original artwork, quilts, handcrafted jewelry, burled pens, fabric book covers, children's woodworking, decorative home and holiday gifts.
