Hester Louise Lacy, 90, of Acworth, died Monday, November 16, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Mulkey officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Mrs. Lacy was a native of Jackson County, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cherokee County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Johnnie B. Lacy. Surviving are her sons, Johnnie B. (Lois) Lacy, Jr. of Acworth, J. Grady (Anne) Lacy of Canton, SFC US Army Retired Troy M. (Sun Ye) Lacy of Fayetteville, and Allen J. (June) Lacy of Toccoa; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive..
