Endless ideas for Christmas decorations will greet visitors during the Ball Ground Business Association's Second Annual Christmas Tour of Homes.

The tour of seven homes will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event and are for sale at Ball Ground Pharmacy, Home Pools and Spas and Packrats Daughter.

Proceeds will fund association programs to benefit Ball Ground businesses.

The Holcombe Home

A mixture of Disney and Victorian decor fills Mark and Linda Holcombe's home.

The four-bedroom, six-bathroom home, which is 7,500 square feet, is outfitted with 10 Christmas trees, half of which are Disney or theater-related themes of the Victorian era.

The main Christmas tree features 378 Disney ornaments, and a decorative train set sits at its base.

"We're just huge Disney fans," Mrs. Holcombe said.

There's also a Mickey Mouse bedroom, with furry friends from "Snow White" and a tree topped with a Mickey Mouse hat and covered with ornaments inspired by the character.

Another bedroom is home to a Tinkerbell Christmas tree that incorporates Mrs. Holcombe's wedding dress into the decorations.

One tree, known as the crystal tree, was purchased in Germany in 1988. Another tree, in a room filled with dolls, has an angels theme.

In the Holcombes' basement, there's a tree with small, stuffed bears and acorns as ornaments.

Even the media room has a Christmas tree - it's decorated with ticket stubs, small popcorn bags and 3-D glasses.

The Molinari Home

The secluded residence of Mark and Megan Molinari combines a cozy atmosphere with contemporary decor.

The 10,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Each window is trimmed with a wreath, and wreaths decorate each room. Six Christmas trees also are displayed throughout the house.

Fresh Fraser fir garlands sit atop the mantle above the indoor fireplace, and a garland and a wreath adorn the outdoor fireplace.

Mrs. Molinari, who decorated the home herself, also used fresh rosemary and real pine cones throughout.

"I love decorating from nature," said Mrs. Molinari, whose home is featured on the tour for the second year.

The Mullinax Home

Nothing goes to waste when it comes to decorations in the Mullinax home.

Greg and Connie Mullinax's home features ornaments crafted from items that were destined for the trash.

"I just enjoy using and refurbishing what others don't want," she said.

The 2,500-square-foot home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Twenty-two Christmas trees, all in varying sizes, have been decorated for the tour.

One features only handmade crocheted ornaments done by a friend of Mrs. Mullinax who has passed away.

There even is a tree that celebrates the couple's 25th wedding anniversary. She incorporated her wedding dress and veil into the design that also features angel ornaments.

A bathroom Christmas tree features wooden ornaments, and a bedroom tree includes only Santa Claus ornaments.

A tree in the kitchen is home to a gingerbread man and baking-inspired ornaments. A smaller counter top tree features mini teapots.

The master bedroom's Christmas tree, known as "the people tree," uses faces as ornaments. A vanity tree in another room is decorated with flowers, make-up accessories, brushes and perfume bottles.

Two trees are in the bonus room:?one is covered in bears and the other, which is pink, is decorated with stars. Also in the bonus room, a collection of Nutcracker characters is lined up atop a cabinet.

In the laundry room, the Mullinaxes have a small tree with ornaments that resemble socks, sweaters, clothes pin and bonnets.

The Popham Home

The cozy home of Mark and Joan Popham just outside of downtown has a "little bit of everything" awaiting visitors.

The 2,500-square-foot, three-bedroom, one-bath home is filled with mechanical Christmas toys, including miniature homes, a miniature Santa Claus that blows bubbles, a Christmas tree with flashing lights and homemade heirloom ornaments.

"I love decorating for Christmas," Mrs. Popham said, whose home is making its tour debut.

Garlands and colored Christmas lights trim the Pophams' entertainment center, and the bookcase is decorated with reindeer and sleighs.

One bedroom and bath has a snowman theme, one bedroom has a Charlie Brown and Snoopy Christmas theme and another bedroom is decorated with poinsettias.

The Sellars Home

Joan Sellars' home is filled with antique Christmas decorations, mostly made by her.

The main attraction in the 2,200-square-foot, three-bedroom and two-bath home is a dollhouse with decorations that could rival any home in an upscale neighborhood.

The dollhouse, built in 1949 by her grandfather, is decorated with a "Night Before Christmas" theme.

Inside, the father sneaks a peek at Santa Claus placing presents under the tree while the mother and children are fast asleep. Santa's reindeer and sleigh sit on the dollhouse's roof.

The dollhouse, which has electricity, is decorated for the holidays with garlands, Christmas-themed wallpaper and tiny wreaths.

Throughout Mrs. Sellars' home, visitors will find numerous lighted Christmas trees, a snowman collection and garlands. In the back yard, a 40-foot Christmas tree with 500 lights will greet visitors.

Mrs. Sellars' den features "primitive" homespun ornaments made out of muslin. On the main tree, each ornament was a gift from former students when she taught in DeKalb and Fulton counties.

The Wigington Home

A unique black-and-white tree is the focal point of the home of Steve and Ginger Wigington.

The 3,700-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.

In the master bathroom, the black-and-white tree is trimmed with ornaments and ribbons in the two shades.

The dining room tree features only antique Christmas ornaments. The Christmas tree in the living room is decorated with between 1,500 and 1,800 ornaments that resemble icicles.

At the base of the Wigingtons' garland-trimmed staircase sits a Christmas and snow-themed ski slopes toy set.

The home of artist Brenda Tustian also will be featured in this year's tour, but it was not available for a preview.
