State Rep. Calvin Hill (R-Hickory Flat) and Sen. Jack Murphy (R-Cumming) will conduct three meetings that are open to the public.
The meetings will focus on the 2010 General Assembly legislative session that began this week.
The first meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Waleska City Hall at 8891 Fincher Road.
The two other meetings both will be conducted on Tuesday. The first begins at 6:30 p.m. at Ball Ground Public Library at 435 Old Canton Road. The second begins at 7:45 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse at 100 North St. in downtown Canton.
The City of Ball Ground had sent notice to the Cherokee Tribune that a "listening session" with Hill and Murphy would be conducted at Ball Ground City Hall on Jan. 12, but that meeting was canceled by the city staff a few hours before.
Staff from Hill's office on Wednesday said there apparently had been miscommunication between the legislators and the city staff, as no Jan. 12 meeting had been planned.
