Mr. Paul Ingram, age 88, of Ball Ground, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Hopewell Baptist Church in the Clayton Community with Rev. Grant Wade and Rev. Johnny McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Mr. Ingram will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday from 10:30 until 11 a.m. Mr. Ingram served in the United States Army. He was a World War II Veteran, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a charter member of the Ball Ground Lions Club. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ruth Ingram of Ball Ground; sons, Aaron (Janice) Ingram of Canton and Ricky (Glenda) Ingram of Woodstock; grandchildren, Taylor Ingram of Canton, Whitney (Heath) Tippens of Canton and Evan Ingram of Woodstock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Ball Ground Lions Club.
