Ortha Ann McFarland Young, age 72, of Canton, GA, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 28, 2010 from the Riverdale Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Allen, Rev. Edwin Weaver, Rev. Bobby Segers, and Rev. Bobby McFarland officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday all day and until funeral on Thursday. Survivors are sons and daughters-in-law, Tim & Cheryl McFarland, Jasper and Tommy & Lynda McFarland, Canton,GA; sister, Ventalee Smithwick, Smyrna, GA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive.
