Glad they decided to allow a public hearing on the extended pouring hours, even though it makes perfect sense. Two hours will not equate to our moral decline, but it may help some of our local businesses and the City's budget as well. Not sure where Councilman Goodwin is coming from on this. Last time I looked at my calendar, the year said 2010!

Speaking for the next generation, it's about time Canton moves into this century! Why can restaurants pour in all areas of Cherokee County until 2 a.m. but not in Canton? We need a more progressive outlook in City Hall. Time to stop rolling up the sidewalks after dark and give people a reason to spend their money in Canton instead of going to Woodstock or Kennesaw. I hope the Council votes YES to extend the serving hours! We need more restaurants around here.
