A Woodstock man learned he won Apple Inc.'s iTunes 10 billionth song download contest from Steve Jobs himself.
Louie Sulcer, 71, received the call from the Apple co-founder on Wednesday night informing him he was the lucky winner of a $10,000 gift card.
The song bought by Sulcer that made the milestone and won him the prize was 1958's "Guess Things Happen That Way" by Johnny Cash.
It's the 10 billionth song sold since the iTunes Store opened in 2003. The company had advertised the buyer of the song would win the gift card to spend on song, movie and app downloads.
The staggering total cements its position as the world's largest music retailer.
The music store sold around 25 million tracks in 2003. Three years later, it surpassed the 1 billion mark.
The iTunes store has a catalog of more than 12 million songs, giving it the world's largest music catalog, according to Apple.
