Dillard Russell Holbrook, age 73, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. He was a retired sheet metal worker with Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #85. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Davis and Rev. Ronnie Holbrook officiating. Entombment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Survivors include his daughter, Elvy (Richard) Hayles, Canton; brothers, Lamar Holbrook, Jonesboro, Roger Holbrook, Locus Grove, Jerry Holbrook, Houston, TX and Ronnie Holbrook, Talking Rock; sister, Tina Holbrook, Forest Park; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
