Larry "Neal" West, age 76, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at his residence. He was a retired truck driver, a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Huey Holloway and Rev. Leon Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue West, Canton; sons, Edward West, Waleska, Ronald West, Jasper, Johnny Gibson and Henry Gibson, Canton, David Gibson, Clayton Community, Daniel Gibson, MN; daughters, Judy West, Jasper, Wanda Stein, Spokane, WA, Betty Jean Fountain, Canton; brother, Buford West, Canton; sisters, Dorothy Phillips, Canton, Shelby West, Locust Grove; 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
