A Woodstock woman died in a car crash on Interstate 575 in Cobb County on Sunday morning.

Judy Wilson, 55, was driving southbound on Interstate 575 south of Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw in a white 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck at 10 a.m. when the crash occurred.

Police said she collided with a blue 1994 Buick LeSabre while attempting to change lanes, lost control and ended up in the northbound lanes where she hit a silver 2004 Lincoln Aviator.

Ms. Wilson died at the scene. A 15-year-old girl in her car was taken by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Three other people were injured, including a 7-month-old boy, who were both treated and released from WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

The crash closed all northbound lanes for several hours.

The Cobb Police Department is investigating the crash.
