Mary Emma O'Bryant Clayton, 78, of Free Home, passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gerral Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 pm until 9 pm and all day Wednesday at the funeral home. Emma was born on December 26, 1931, second child of Carl and Marie Cloud. Emma was a very talented seamstress, baked wonderful cakes, and loved children. She was married to Herbert O'Bryant in 1952 until his death in 1987 and was remarried to Ralph Clayton in 2001 until his death in 2010. Emma was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, sister, Evleyn Allen, brother, Hubert Cloud, niece, Karen Cloud, and nephew Ricky Cloud. Survivors include her daughter, Maria (Matt) Baldwin; granddaughter, Emily Baldwin; siblings, Carolyn (Ray) Grimsley, Barbara (Joe) Milford, Katie (Don) Parker, Bill (Pam) Cloud and Bud (Donna) Cloud; sisters-in-law, Louise O'Bryant and Mardell O'Bryant.
